With a heavy heart, she took the last steps toward the gate, dragging the suitcase behind her in her left hand. That was it. The end of her chapter. The last lines of already fading words that had shaped her summer until now. Gave it color.
She had thought she could cope with the goodbye, find comfort in all her new memories and...well...just get it over with. She was wrong. The goodbye wasn't even a day old and already she wanted to turn around and run back as fast as she could. But before she knew it, July had come and gone.
